Bhartiyam International School organized the 16th Uttarakhand State Open Chess Championship 2022 in its premises. It was a three day event organized from 2 November 2022 to 4 November 2022.

The organizers of the event were Mr. Bharat Goel and Mr. Gurjeet Kamra, the Directors of Bhartiyam International School, Ms. Rashmi Anand, the Principal of Bhartiyam International School, Mr. Bhupendra Singh, the Vice Principal of Bhartiyam International School,

Mr. R.S. Tiwari, International Arbitar,

Mr. Sanjeev Choudhary, General Secretary, Mrs. Seema Raghuvanshi, Treasurer, and Miss Maurishi, Deputy Arbiter.

The event was organized in the memory of Late Dhiraj Singh Raghuvanshi. It was presided over by DIG, Mr. Senthil Abudai,IPS.

There were three categories namely U-13, U-15 and Senior Open Category. A total of 95 individuals registered for the event and took part in the competition. At BIS, we are extremely delighted and pleased to be the host of such a prestigious state event. We wish all the winners the best in their future endeavors and believe that they will always keep up their hard work, grit, and determination.
