Apart from keeping a healthy body and mind, sports also helps us in alerting our senses, keeps us aware and an undaunting personality and outlook on life. Hence, sports have a multi-faceted role in our lives.
SWIMMING
Knowing how to swim is more than just a sport; it is a necessary life skill. When a youngster learns how to swim safely, they build confidence, learn new skills, and make healthier life choices. We praise and promote their swimming development and efforts through our school swimming program. Students are awarded certificates for their achievements and have the opportunity to demonstrate their swimming abilities in inter-house swimming competitions.
BASKETBALL
Basketball is a fun activity for people of all skill levels and ages, thanks to its global appeal. Basketball needs speed, strength, and stamina. You must move and change directions fast while performing high-intensity, short-duration muscular contractions. Basketball will also help you improve your attention abilities by keeping you focused on the game. We hold inter-school and inter-house basketball contests for our kids on a regular basis.

Bhartiyam International School has enviable sports facilities. Our students can pursue their sports of choice either outdoors on our pitches or tennis courts or track, or in our sports hall, squash centre, fitness centre, fencing salle, dojo, rackets court, swimming pool or fives courts. Our skating rink is renowned and offers a fitness area.
Our sports facilities are well used by a number of groups, including those with which we have formed regular partnerships.
The creation of new clubs which are open to the community and pupils alike is key in the school’s aim of offering young people of sporting, musical and performing arts activities throughout the year. Clubs are run by both Bhartiyam staff and volunteers from the local community, providing a wide range of activities.
