May your Diwali be a rangoli of lights brightening up your home with brightness and prosperity
Bhartiyam International School organised a *Rangoli Making Competition* for the students class 9, to celebrate the pious and holy festival of Diwali and an *Aipan Making Competition* for the students of class 11.
The talented students of BIS showed their finesse, skill and expertise in designing beautiful rangolis and Aipans. They added a pop of colour to rangoli, which symbolises the colorful and joyous festival yet to arrive.
The students also showcased their skills in Aipan Making by making beautiful, mesmerising Aipans. Aipan is a ritualistic folk art, native to the Kumaon region of Uttarakhand. It is drawn to commemorate auspicious occasions, festivals and even rituals performed during death of a person. The art form is also known to offer protection against evil. The excitement for Diwali was clearly visible on their faces when they were beautifully presenting their Aipans made with a dash of paint.
